Mission

Ufficio Pio is the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo auxiliary body that works for people who are facing adversity and want to build a better future for themselves and their families.

It is an active-solidarity organisation committed to helping everyone who comes into contact with it to fully exercise their rights as citizens and their right to pursue happiness.

Its main focus is the metropolitan area of Turin, where it works to reduce economic and social inequalities.

It delivers projects aimed at generating lasting changes in people’s lives, including through preventive actions in the fields of education, training, job-seeking and social inclusion.

It cultivates a spirit of outreach, with a view to getting to know people and their needs, cooperating with public and private institutions, and sharing methods and results with the research world and with foreign partners in European projects.

Its staff, with the invaluable help of volunteers, strive to put the principle of equality and equal dignity into practice on a daily basis.
